Rallying In Phoenix

Well I guess the other side is wanting to be heard.  Here is a question for the class.

“IF” you are aware, you then know SB1070 is actually ‘less’ strong than federal law.  Class students of course, know the feds are not enforcing THE FEDERAL LAW, so Arizona in their wisdom somewhat emulated THE FEDERAL LAW, and is intending to enforce said LAW.  Starts in July.

Question for the class:  do you think the nut jobs rallying ‘against’ SB1070 would be rallying if the federal government was enforcing THE FEDERAL LAW???  Hmmm????

I D I O T S.  They are rallying ‘against’ something less intrusive than already enacted law.  THAT my friends (I hate using John McCains’s words), is what the people of Arizona are pissed about.  Just enforce the laws on the books and SB1070 would be a distant memory.

Ramblings

So the administration is catching flak for not responding to the crisis in the gulf quicker. In response they are talking about telling BP to ‘get out of the way’ and the government will take over.

Umm, question for the class.  Do you think FEMA or, (pick your agency) will know the first thing about a problem one mile below the surface?  Who do you think the govmint will git to go down and try and get a handle on things?  Maybe Beeeeee Peeeee??? Just wondering.

Go Home Mr. Presiden

Mexican President Calderon before Congress speaking about Arizona SB1070:  "It is a law that not only ignores a reality that cannot be erased by decree but also introduces a terrible idea using racial profiling as a basis for law enforcement," he said to cheers, mainly from the Democrat side of the chamber.

Mexican President Calderon to Wolf Blitzer on CNN 'AFTER' just speaking to Congress:  Citing a Washington Times article explaining Mexican immigration laws  that incriminated those who willfully participated in illegal immigration or helped illegal immigrants, Blitzer asked President Calderón to contrast those laws with Arizona’s. Calderón replied that, while the Times assessment used to be true, it is no longer, and immigration cannot be illegal in Mexico – he then said:
“Of course, on the border, we are asking people ‘Who are you?’” explained Calderón, and “Once they are inside the country, what the  Mexican police do is,  of course, enforce the law, but any means immigration is a crime anymore in Mexico… if someone does that, we find them and sending [sic] them back.”

This is a sick puppy, this President of Mexico - he has the backing of our President and the Democrat side of Congress.  There is a day of reckoning coming; I  truly believe this to be true.

One more time... first of all, the law in Arizona has not even been implemented yet!!! Second of all, it is almost a mirror image of <FEDERAL LAW>.  The feds just are not enforcing their law.  If the Democrat Party 'really' believes what they are saying,  why in the sam hill don't we just all give up our passports.  Fire all immigration people, we don't need them.  Open all the borders and let all come.  Oh, but you better keep ‘your’ papers if you wanna travel outside these borders to <ANYWHERE WORLD>.  How very ridiculous. We are sheep being led to slaughter.

Rubbing It In Our Noses

So I’m watching the ABC Nightly News with the lovely Diane Sawyer – she tells us about a story  where our First Lady is in attendance along with the First Lady of Mexico.

A widdle girl who the story identifies as the daughter of an illegal immigrant asks a question.  I mean, they “INTRODUCE” the little girl as the daughter of an “ILLEGAL”.

We deserve every fricking thing we get!!! We Americanos DESERVE PRECISELY what we get!

Hard To Believe

So the Administration has been talking about the ill conceived immigration law in Arizona.  The ten page law… “TEN” pages for crying out loud.

The top law enforcement person in the land, General Eric Holder was asked ‘before’ Congress if he’d read the Arizona law.

General Holder responded he had not read the law as yet.  He should be fired for mal-practice, and the sooner the better. Unbelievable!!

The Arizona Governor

Should the AZ governor continue showing the courage she’s shown in the past month or so, I might finally be persuaded to move to the great southwest. She has shown more metal, gonads, brass ones, courage, than anyone I’ve seen in a long time.  Perhaps Christie in NJ also.

I suppose it is inevitable, but it takes guts to stand up, and these two have shown it can be done.

Passing Thoughts

If you get the chance to see John Mc Cain’s latest political ad in AZ, do so – if you are one who has watched Mc Cain in action it will bring bile to you mouth.  His time, in my opinion, has come and gone.  Go home and stay home John.

Obamacare is going to cost more than originally thought.  This per the Congressional Budget Office on Tuesday.  Oh really!!! Congressional Budget Office estimates released Tuesday predict the health care overhaul will likely cost about $115 billion more in discretionary spending over ten years than the original cost projections. And, after putting this gem out, the CBO then said they still do NOT know what the total cost will be.  Oh well… elections do have consequences.

Question of the day – if the [ILLEGALS] were shown to be voting in the Republican Party, umm, do you think the borders might then be controlled?   Hmmm???

I voted yesterday, and yes I voted to remove my local Congressman.  Didn’t seem to work out… he garnered 65% of the vote making him eligible to run in the general election.  He voted for TARP; I voted for sanity.  With a 15% voter turnout I dunno.  Regardless, I tried.

Change Is Coming

When Bennett of Utah is challenged and loses in perhaps the most conservative state in this country, something is happening.  It appears to me, if you are an incumbent who voted for TARP and bailouts in general, you may well be in jeopardy.

As for me?  Stand on principle and I don’t care ‘what’ party you are.  Of course it has to be the principles I believe in, just like it always is in this country.  Just looks like a sea change is coming.  We shall see.

The Market Crash

Umm, just wondering – they are all speculating some poor fellow hit the wrong key on his keyboard… hitting (B) for billion vice (M) for million.  The erroneous letter was to designate the number of shares for Proctor & Gamble if I understand what they are espousing.

The question – can you name me even one stock that has even a billion shares?  Just one please.  Do we even know what a billion is anymore?  Or did we ever?

This type excuse is not one I am buying.  I mean, with the market down again, I am buying; I’m just not buying the excuse of a typo causing this scenario.

As Judge Judy says – if it does not make sense it is not true. She is one of my heroes. :)

Various Things and Thoughts

I like the fact Judge Judy has rated higher than Oprah again.  Makes me at least think there is hope out there.  We need many more Judge Judys in courts around the country.

Has the P.O.T.U.S. even flown over the flooded areas of Tennessee?  Just wondering. Oh, that’s right… no place to land that would not have interfered with what is/was going on on the ground.  Actually I haven’t even heard the President mention Tennessee… oh well.

I do not blame President Obama for the oil spill anymore than I did Bush for Katrina.  Both catastrophic occurrences which mere mortal men have no control over.

There is something “big” going on when David Obey, Democrat WI is leaving Congress. I have no clue if this is gonna carry over to ‘all’ incumbents, but for the Chairman of the Appropriations Committee to leave, something is stirring out there.  This is a position of ‘power’.

The AZ situation raises the bile level in me. The law was crafted to emulate the federal law which was not being enforced.  My heart goes out to the people of  AZ.

I personally have come to the conclusion it indeed the fault of the employers in this immigration issue.  They (the employers) will try and blame the feds; I don’t buy it.  Republican and Democrat parties are at fault here.  Make it a felony to hire an illegal and maybe, just maybe we can turn the corner on this issue.  Not however, gonna hold my breath.

Tiger One More Time

On 12/08/09 I wrote I didn’t think Tiger would ever win another golf tournament. If he plays like he did the last couple of days it will indeed never happen again. I will however, concede that proclamation might have been abit hasty.

I do think his performance on Thursday and Friday confirmed what I said about the mental aspect of the game.  People thought he’d just pop back into the game and being winning.  Golf is much different from other sports.  I think the mental aspect is more intense in golf than say, basketball or football.

In basketball as in football you have a team. You as a part of that team can literally cover up mistakes – golf does not allow for those mistakes.  Not only is every golf course different, every hole is different and only you can read the putts and play the course.  Mr. Woods is finding out the realities of mental toughness.

As for me I remain as I was before; I can no longer look at Tiger as I did prior to Thanksgiving 09.
