National Disgrace

The media is getting deeper and deeper in their assistance helping our president cover-up Benghazi. It is a disgrace what they are doing!

The Election Draws Nigh

With the election fast approaching, I have a few thoughts running through my noggin. Just things that mane me wanna scratch my butt and go 'hmmm'. http://goo.gl/Z8Blv Anyone who has lived in Iowa knows the importance of The Des Moines Register. It is one of the most important papers in the state and is generally conceded to be slightly left of center. They endorsed President Obama back in the last election. So, scratching my buttocks, I wonder why The Anointed One would not give them an interview. http://goo.gl/Oq47s Another instance of The President not giving an interview to a prominent newspaper, this time in Colorado. Isn't this interesting boys and girls? Don't you wonder why journalists cannot get to the 'real' issues these days? http://goo.gl/jfrNY Oh, 'here' we go!!! The President on tour and being interviewed. You can add to this list 'The View', 'Letterman' and others like them. The toughest interview our President has gotten this year was by an outfit from Mexico. Journalism has been give a bad name in this country and should indeed be ashamed of themselves. The subject of bayonets came up in debate #3 the other night. Our President actually displayed his ignorance of their current usage. In fact they are used with some regularity in our incursions in the Mideast. I recently read about a young Marine who was being decorated - his squad was being over-run by a large group of enemy. He saw no way out but to attack straight into the onslaught. He ordered his troops to 'fix bayonets', (well, I'll be damned!), and that squad went direct into the attack. In the end, he was decorated for the valor displayed. The Bengazi incident is a disgrace once again to journalism. I want to say the one person (other than The President), I am most disgusted with is The Director of Central Intelligence, one David Petraeus. I will just say this... I worked in intelligence for many years. I have physically handed the 'Daily Intel Brief' to the Commander In Chief of The Strategic Air Command on many occasions. I know how the data flows. We have been lied to, and for the CIA to remain quiet in a situation like this is very disappointing to me personally. Our press should hang their heads in shame!

Presidential Debate #2

IMHO I think Romney wins by not losing. On debate points, I ‘think’ I will give a qualified win to President Obama with an able assist from our gal Candy. I think what Candy did is journalistic malpractice, but… she has and will get away with her performance. It is OK… I have learned there is no defense against the mainstream; one can’t even shame them into doing what’s right most times. How the interpretation of ‘binders of women’ can be turned into a negative is beyond me. If you listened to how Romney used that term it was OBVIOUS he had called for a folder filled with women candidates. And these are college educated people making this interpretation. One other point – Romney did miss breaking it off in The President’s buttocks. When Obama, backed up by said he had called it an act of terrorism on Sep 12, Romney should have asked him directly why he sent the U.N. Ambassador out on all the Sunday talk shows blaming the movie. It is not over folks. The Libya issue will come up again in the final debate… I suspect Mr. Romney will be ready.

The VEEP Debate

I guess since I commented on the buttocks whipping during  the first presidential debate, I should comment on this one.

In a nutshell, it was as I expected. Ole Joe did not disappoint in any way.  He was the sneering democrat I have known for at least twenty years.

Unprofessional, discourteous, condescending, that about sums it up for me and I think anyone who watched this debate with any semblance of open-mindedness had to be disappointed on Ole Joe. But surprised?  Not even a little bit!

The Debate

I am a political junkie.  I cannot remember a debate, especially Presidential ones I have ever missed. The debate last night was the single BEST debate I have ever seen! Period!  Romney cleaned The President’s buttocks.  It was a beautiful thing and it inspired me.  I could not sleep and woke around 3ish to watch things all over again.  Still beautiful.

I Wish

I could find even ONE person who has changed their mind on the Presidential Election ‘and will admit their change’. Cain’t seem to find one!

This’n That

Yesterday a couple of new portions of the Affordable Care Act went into effect (very quietly I might add).  One that intrigues me the most is this – if you are hospitalized, then discharged and have to be readmitted too quickly, the hospital will be penalized. Now, start running some scenarios around in your head and see watcha come up with.  I will remind you, not one, I repeat, not one Republican law-maker voted for this behemoth. That does not mean btw, there are not parts I agree with – there are.

If you are or were a Denver Bronco fan you would know of John Elway.  Could probably be elected to anything he wanted in Colorado. Anyway, he announced yesterday he is backing Mitt Romney for President.  The Denver Post did not mention this endorsement. Ha ha ha ha ha ha.  How rich is that??!!

I will repeat something I said aloong time ago.  Whoever is elected President is going to face the fiscal cliff come January. It is / has reached the place it is not able to be ignored.  Tough times ahead.

Didja ever ask yourself if President Obama is soooo far ahead in the polls, why he is spending so much time campaigning and raising money?  Just wondering.

Interesting fact – the embassy in Benghazi was attacked 13 times in the lead-up to the attack on Sep 11, 2012.  No big deal though… no additional security needed and no story here folks. Buh bye!
