This'n That In The News

Anyone who reads me knows I am conservative leaning.  Liberalism makes my hair hurt.  In this case Nancy Pelosi and her caucus would not let Congresswoman Duckworth vote by proxy.  Ms. Duckworth could not be in Washington because she is pregnant.  Forget the fact she is a veteran and lost her legs in the Iraq war.  We don't care she is a woman, we don't care about family leave; the hypocrisy of the donkey's decision makes my heart sing because it once again illuminates their disdain for fairness.  Hmm, I wonder if this is part of the blessed war on women.

Flashback - Sep 9, 2009 - The State of The Union address given by a then very popular President Barrack Obama.  This address was remembered by one thing after all was said and done.  A Congressman from South Carolina stood up and declared - "you lie" in response to President Obama's declarations pertaining to his Affordable Care Act.  Me?  I'ma thinking Mr. Joe Wilson deserves an apology, not only from the American people but from the POTUS also!!! Here is an article from 'American Thinker' that summarizes this issue quite well.  http://goo.gl/g71ZPL

Remember 'drill baby drill'?  Yep, that phrase made famous by the dumbest cluck in the universe, Sarah Palin.  Remember what she said would happen were the drilling to commence?  Well it has happened.  The price of oil is down.  All I'm gonna say.

The Sheep Are Raising Their Heads

The American people have just learned what many of us knew from the gitgo.  The Affordable Care Act was sold on a faulty premise.  You can keep this, you can keep that, prices will go down and on and on we go.  It was a lie, it is a lie, it will always be a lie.

So now a video has surfaced - the video shows Jonathan Gruber, one of the architects of Obama Care talking to colleagues at M.I.T. and revealing they had to lie in order to sell it to the 'stupid' Americanos.  Actually I love it!  Many, and I do mean many people warned of this very thing early on.  Those 'many' were ridiculed and called heartless and worse.

This from the President who 'promised' the most transparent administration in history - early on, if you recall, he said the Affordable Care Act would be debated on CSPAN; did you see any debates?

If you care to read/listen to this, here is a link: http://goo.gl/RdDY8b

I said very very early on...while not one Republican, not one in the House or the Senate voted for this, in the end they WILL be blamed for it being so screwed!!!
