Commenting On The News

http://goo.gl/PnzNR  Too late you yaybirds!  If this was not so very sad it would be funny.  Now “I” am here to tell you it is too doggone late.  We got what YOU wanted and yes, we are all now going to suffer.

http://goo.gl/rxXRX  The President was mad yesterday when the Senate voted down his gun registration enhancement.  He was madder than he was about the killing of Americans in Benghazi, he was madder than he was at the bombing in Boston – both acts of terrorism.  Me?  No dog in the hunt.  I do know if only current laws were ENFORCED, gun crime would go down.

http://goo.gl/xoOLR Now I ask you… aren’t YOU proud to be an American?  I have not seen this on the nightly news have you?  Way back when I was a teenager I convinced myself I was ‘for’ abortion.  When I was in my very early twenties, they had a news story where an abortion clinic in California was featured on the news.  The video showed fetuses being thrown into the dumpster out behind the clinic.  That is the day I changed my mind.  No apologies. The reason the media has failed to cover this trial is because the actions are so heinous. They KNOW people would be repulsed. Mr. Hill proves it. http://goo.gl/DEahY

http://goo.gl/FFJbT  Sadly, Senator Marco Rubio just lost me. I had high hopes for him. Oh well, it does get lonely at times being a law abiding citizen.

Passing Thoughts

First of all, ‘anytime’ there is tragedy,  there are those who help and those who think only of getting to safety.  These are both natural reactions.  I now, and always have maintained ‘nobody’ knows what they themselves would do unless they were confronted with a given situation.  Again, it is a natural reaction, whichever reaction one has.  I first came to this conclusion during the William Calley trial post the Vietnam War.  If you do not know the incident, google it.

So… “I” get so very tired of those who say ‘we Americans’ always turn towards disaster instead of away from disaster.  Can someone name me “O N E” disaster anywhere else  in the world where there were not people running to help.  Just one, please?  Pet peeve of mine I guess.  I am not disparaging those who help for crying out loud!

‘Anytime’ a bomb or series of bombs goes off, anywhere, it is terrorism. PERIOD!!  I do not need The President of The United States to say it; I know it is terrorism. Whether or not he should have said the word I will leave up to others… he is after all, highly educated.

If you follow and understand the rules of golf you would line up on the side of Tiger disqualifying himself from The Masters.  If you are a periodic watcher, much like baseball fans who only watch baseball during The World Series, you think Tiger should have stayed in the tournament.  If Tiger had won The Masters, there would have been a stain on the tournament… may be anyway.  Regardless, “I” am glad he did NOT win because of the incident.  The fact his old caddy was on the winning bag may have been karma.

This’n That

So I see the post office has decided to not cut Saturday delivery.  As far back as the early nineties I can remember telling my Mother while writing email the post office was doomed.  Our fearless leaders can not see the handwriting (pun intended) on their proverbial walls.  You will find, in the final analysis, what with sequester etc., those a-hole lawmakers will not be cutting anything.  In fact, nothing has been cut yet.  It is a reduction in the growth of spending, but…. nobody cares.

I see the cost of implementing the state exchanges for The Affordable Care Act has doubled and it is not even done yet – this is just the implementation for crying out loud.  It is a gonna get dicey folks.

The Mitch Mcconnel  discussions about Ashley Judd fiasco is just that… a fiasco, much ado about nothing.  You tell me even one candidate running for office that does not try and expose the weaknesses of a prospective opponent.   If you can name even one, I will name one who was not elected.  In this particular case it was not even done publicly <yet>… discussions of KNOWN things were being talked about.  Things ole Ashley even said in her own book.  The point is, the fact a politician is talking about an opponent in a strategy session is not newsworthy… bugging them, secretly taping them is, and that is not being discussed!! Such is AmeriKa today!

Nowhere is anyone talking about the fact the conversations were monitored / gathered illegally.  I suppose, since were are not to refer to immigrants as being here illegally, we can’t call this illegal, but I promise it would be illegal were elephants vice donkeys doing the gathering.  Simply amazing my friends.  I don’t even like Mcconnel, I think he has a yellow streak, has nothing to do with this issue though.
