Social Security

Frankly m'dear - I don't give a hang. What I 'do' give a hang about is when someone finally tries to do something about it, he is skewered. Me? I +55 so it is not a gonna matter one way or the other to me. And I am NOT losing any sleep over my kids or their kids. One absolutely 'has' to be an idiot to not know something has to be done.

When just about seven years ago President Clinton said the very same things, the current bunch of wimp senators who are now putting their hackles up, were in total agreement with the then president. When someone comes along who is 'really' willing to fight for a change, those same folks once again say what a dunce our current president is.... OK boyz and girlz, methinks you have been down this road before... todate, going into his fifth year in office I would think you would now know that what President Bush says, President Bush means. He has shown he does not lead by polls (thank you Lord)... he does what he thinks is right for the country.

In the final analysis it will be up to the young people in this country to finally tell the old fogies to buzz off... throw them outta office and get on with their life... Social Security has been a crap shoot since inception anyway... I think I can find documentation where the monies contributed (initially) were even supposed to be deductible... ha ha ha ha ha ha... what a farce.
