And So It Begins

   2013 is upon us and with it the largest tax increases in this countries history.  Our Congress is deadlocked, although the Republicans just got rolled ‘AGAIN’.  They gave up major tax increases without ‘any’ cuts in spending.  Whatta country!!

   I said many months ago, before it was decided who would win the presidential election, the person elected would have to face the music.  In President Obama’s case, he did not care if he got re-elected.  He said he was going to transform America and he has done so!  If Romney had been elected he would have been blamed.  It remains to be seen if President Obama will be blamed.

   Obamacare, effective 1 January will inflict a one trillion dollar tax on the people of this country.  Immediately!  Medical device companies begin paying 2.3% off the top 1 Jan.  Does not matter if they make any profit.  It is on gross sales.  You are finally going to find out what was ‘in the bill’ America, and it will not be pretty.

   The most delicious irony for me in this whole mess is this – back when President Bush implemented the so called Bush Tax Cuts, the democrats HATED the idea. Period!  They did not like the idea in any way.  Today, they love the Bush Tax Cuts, at least for the 98%.  OK, so the 2% rich are getting an increase.  I do not care if you took all the rich folks money, in toto… you would not touch the spending issue in this country.  What do you conclude from this – you had better conclude that the M O N E Y is with the middle class… that means you and me, and you will soon realize that YOU are the rich.  You wanted it, you got it. 

   Yup, President Obama, when he said he was going to transform this country had done it in spades.  We are getting precisely what we deserve.
